ALFA MARINE REFIT CENTER / MAINTENANCE

Prepare for the season ahead.

A useful maintenance plan starts with records, current faults and the date you intend to use the yacht.

Review the records

Share recent service reports, known defects and equipment details. Separate routine maintenance from unresolved faults or optional upgrades.

Prioritise the work

Discuss safety-related and operational concerns first with the responsible specialists. Inspection determines the appropriate scope and any additional investigation.

Keep a usable record

The scope should identify the service information and handover documents to be supplied. Future maintenance follows equipment guidance and project-specific advice.

How do you prepare a pre-season yacht maintenance list?

Bring together engine and generator service records, electrical and battery condition, pumps, water systems and hull observations. Inspection and service intervals follow the equipment manufacturer’s instructions. A checklist is not a remote seaworthiness assessment.

What if maintenance reveals a need for upgrades?

Separate fault repair from equipment replacement. For issues discovered during disassembly, request the reason, proposed work, cost and schedule impact in writing. Upgrades affecting several systems may need a separate refit scope.
